You can choose how Opera Queensland uses your tax-deductible donation by directing your donation to one of these funds. For the fourth year, the Queensland State Government will match dollar-for-dollar all donations received before the end of the financial year (30 June, 2011), so any gift you make will be doubled!

• Young and Developing Artist Fund Become a Patron of Opera Queensland and enjoy a sense of pride and satisfaction in knowing that you are helping to shape the future of opera through nurturing young and emerging talent.

• Education Fund Over 16 years of delivering a wide variety of innovative initiatives in primary and secondary schools has positioned Opera Queensland as a leader in the area of education. In 2007 and 2008, 15 education activities have been presented to over 55,000 young people. Since 2002 around 2,500 students from 83 high schools across Queensland have participated in the Moving Opera! program which has become one of the most highly regarded youth development programs throughout the State.

• Regional Access Fund As the state opera company we perform to audiences across Queensland. Donating to this fund helps to spread the experience of opera statewide.
• Supported Access Fund This initiative provides funds to give young and elderly people in disadvantaged circumstances the opportunity to attend an opera free of charge.  
• Artform Development Fund This fund helps us to continue to provide
  world-class opera and music theatre and contribute to the development of the artform.
