Transport and Parking

Please note – due to the commencement of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre expansion project the road layout on Grey Street will be modified to accommodate a partial lane closure affecting the traffic flow on Grey Street between Glenelg & Melbourne Streets. Entry to Russell Street will be open for southbound traffic only, accepting traffic travelling left into the street & exiting left onto Grey Street. Click here to view access map (PDF).

Opera Queensland is located in the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) building at 140 Grey Street, South Bank.

We perform in the Lyric Theatre, QPAC which is located on the corner of Melbourne and Grey Streets, South Brisbane and the Conservatorium Theatre, 140 Grey Street, South Bank.

Directions
For directions on how to find Opera Queensland and our venues, go to whereis.com and enter the street address of the building in the search bar. Alternatively, phone Opera Queensland Reception on (07) 3735 3030.

Public Transport
Opera Queensland, the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) and QPAC are easily accessible via public transport. The Cultural Centre Busway, South Brisbane Train Station and the South Bank CityCat Stop are all within walking distance of our venues. Parking
There are a number of car parks located within walking distance of the Queensland Conservatorium and QPAC. Costs and operating hours vary. See below for quick info or click here to find out more from the Visit South Bank website.

QPAC Car Park
Entry via Melbourne Street or Stanley Place

Operating Hours (subject to change – please check signage on the day)
7am to 10pm - Monday
7am to midnight - Tuesday to Friday
8.30am to midnight - Saturday
8.30am to 10.00pm – Sunday

Parking Fees
$15 per visit
$18 per pre-paid visit


Please note: Pre-paid parking vouchers for the Queensland Performing Arts Centre car park are available from the qtix Box Office: phone 136 246.

Cultural Centre Car Park
